Chamber Orchestra Workshop - Saskatoon
The SOA's Chamber Orchestra Workshop will be held in
Saskatoon from July
12th – 16th, 2010
Location: Education Building, University
of Saskatchewan Department of Music, U of S Saskatoon
Fees 2010: $25 registration + $180 tuition
$140 for each
additional child in same family
Classes: full orchestra, chamber groups,
sectionals, option classes, and more!

The
Saskatchewan Orchestral Association's Chamber Orchestra Workshop is
designed to serve young musicians interested in developing performance
technique and studying orchestral and small ensemble repertoire. The workshop is geared to young
musicians that already have experience on their instruments (grades 5 -
12 and beyond). The daily schedule
will offer multiple opportunities for music making. Aside from playing your instrument
there will be time to experience other aspects of music with
performances, options, and more.

This unique educational experience will provide the
opportunity to:
- Study and perform ensemble and orchestral
repertoire
- Study with well-known, experienced specialist
instructors
- Develop personal playing skills with established
professionals in master class, sectionals, and performance
- Perform solo and chamber music repertoire in daily
recitals
- Attend faculty performance (parents welcome
anytime)
- Make new friends
